Paul, a cranky history teacher at an elite prep school is forced to stay on campus over the Christmas holidays to supervise Tully, a troubled student who has no place to go, aided by the school cook, Mary, and administrator, Lydia. The film is a thoughtful blend of comedy, coming-of-age storytelling and a touch of romance, funny at times, sad at times with outstanding performances all round. A very enjoyable watch and a perfect pre-Christmas film.
