The true story of Sir Nicholas 'Nicky' Winton who, in the months leading up to World War II, made a visit to Prague and found families of German and Austrian refugees, who had fled the Nazis, living in desperate conditions and under threat of Nazi invasion. It was a race against time, how many children could be rescued before the borders closed? A reconstruction of the memorable 'That's Life' TV programme to celebrate his work, provides the emotional finale.
