A film based on the real-life story of William Kamkwamba. When he was 14 years old, a drought struck his village in Malawi and famine threatened. From his science studies, William got the idea of building a wind generator to pump water and irrigate the fields. In a feel-good ending,the determination of this one boy eventually wins over the other villagers and gains their help and support. A tale of hope in these times of climate change.
