92-year old Madeleine calls a taxi to take her to the retirement home to which she is reluctantly moving. Charles, the disillusioned driver, agrees to drive via the places which have affected her life. With the help of numerous flashbacks, through the streets of Paris, an extraordinary past is revealed and an unlikely friendship is forged. Engaging performances by the two leading actors.
